Security Information Map
|
The Security Information Map forms the heart of AMPEG Security Lighthouse. It displays the current security level at your company in traffic light form in geographical overview. Different zoom levels show you the status worldwide, throughout Europe, nationally, locally or for a single computer. You can identify all computer systems seamlessly that are not sufficiently protected against current threats, and therefore represent a chronic weak spot in your network.

You Define The Limiting And Threshold Values
You define the limiting and threshold values required to implement the security level needed at your company so that you can verify the quality of your IT security. They are stored under Rule Management in AMPEG Security Lighthouse where they are checked automatically.
An example: you specify that the computer systems at your company locations only achieve the correct level of protection once they have received all current updates via the patch management system. If less than 50 percent of the systems at a location fulfill the rule, the location is displayed on the map in red, (Bremen and Berlin in the example here), if between 50 and 90 percent is reached, they are shown in yellow (Göttingen in the example here) and if 90 to 100 percent is achieved, they are shown in green (Hamburg in the example here).
The Security Information Map is able to display data in real-time by permanently updating it, and automatically comparing target and actual values. This makes taking immediate action to establish the required security level possible for the first time.
