Information Sharing

Those of you use social media will be familiar with this: the "Share This" button. It allows you to share information with other people. The principle being that the community at large profits from fresh knowledge gleaned by individual members.

When processing IT security information, the rapid and targeted sharing of an undesirable status can be of great advantage. The "Share This" button in Security Lighthouse provides an option for forwarding a snapshot of a current analysis to a colleague along with notes. On the basis of the new information, this person can then, for instance, institute actions to improve the security status.

 

We have integrated the "Share This" button into Security Lighthouse from Version 5 onwards, but only for forwarding information to registered users of your own network.
